In 2015, TÜV Rheinland Italia inaugurated its technology center in the headquarters of Pogliano Milanese (Milan), with laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to meet the testing needs of the various industrial sectors. The laboratories are able to test all types of products, from typically non-electrical products (e.g. furniture, pots, ladders, etc.) to electro-medical, passing through materials in contact with food (FCM), household appliances, alternative energy systems, vehicles and much more.
The technology center includes laboratories for electrical product safety, mechanical product safety, environmental stress, chemistry, calibration, automotive, wheels, solar, and two EMC chambers for wireless and electromagnetic compatibility. The second EMC chamber, inaugurated in December 2020, has such dimensions as to allow us to carry out tests even on products of considerable size such as entire vehicles and electronic assemblies formed by different cabinets and control / actuation equipment.
The numerous accreditations and awards obtained by Accredia (with about 350 test methods in the electrical, chemical, environmental, mechanical, EMC, RED / R & TTE), IECEE (household appliance, medical, photovoltaic, measuring equipment, EMC, Info-tech / audio-video), German authority ZLS (TÜV GS Mark), German authority KBA (automotive sector), FCC-ISED (North American market), guarantee the availability of trained personnel and state-of-the-art equipment.
