In the meantime, the first generation of “Digital Natives” is working in the company. The 20 to 37-year olds have grown up with computers and are socialized in a connected world. Their representatives live out a different style of communication. They are accustomed to sharing personal information and their know-how, decentrally and virtually in networks and working in projects. Their value structure is also based on different cornerstones than second and third level management. What does this mean for one another and for the managers responsible?
