Qi Compliance Testing

Make Charging Safe and Convenient

Because smart phones and mobile devices need more power, people these days frequently need to recharge outdoors. This trend has prompted the telecommunications industries to invest in developing wireless charging.

TÜV Rheinland is the world’s first certification body to receive the WPC’s (Wireless Power Consortium) recognition to test Qi (pronounced “chee”) compliance of manufacturer’s electronic products in its labs.

Qi is the global standard for wireless charging, which allows Qi-compatible devices to be charged just by placing them on any Qi-charging surface – without connecting cords or wires. Qi offers simplicity, convenience, and flexibility by ensuring wireless charging interoperability between any Qi-certified charger and mobile device, regardless of manufacturer or brand.

Qi products are available worldwide (e.g. United States, Japan, Europe, and Greater China, etc.). With TÜV Rheinland as your partner for Qi certification you ensure safe and convenient charging devices and standards for smart phones and mobile devices, giving you an edge over the competition.
