Integrated Production Certification
Ensure Food Quality and Safety with Integrated Production
Integrated production is a food quality system which supports environmental protection and agricultural productivity by using integrated pest management without chemical methods. The use of sustainable agriculture including natural production mechanisms and resources protects the health of consumers, farmers and animals as well as the environment.
Since January 1, 2014, every professional food producer is required to fulfill domestic regulations for integrated pest managements by means of an integrated production certificate. TÜV Rheinland Poland experts support you with comprehensive inspection and certification services and provide you the expertise needed to ensure successful certification of your production. Integrated Production – A Food Quality System
Integrated production uses the ongoing progress in technology and biological science concerning the cultivation, fertilization and protection of agricultural crops and aims to achieve stable productivity and appropriate income from farming without risks for consumers and the natural environment.
Not to be confused with organic farming, which excludes the use of pesticides or mineral fertilizers, integrated production allows for the use of selected means when a particular pest causes overwhelming economic damage. However, it should be noted that integrated production systems prioritize non-chemical means, such as biological and agro-technological methods and give special consideration to the nutritional condition of the soil.
