Philipp Kortüm, born 1981, has been studying business administration in Germany, Chile and the US. He started his career in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch in Frankfurt am Main. After an entrepreneurial stint in a travel and brand experience start-up company, Philipp Kortüm has held various finance related positions in the German healthcare group Fresenius from 2009. At first, he worked in executive departments of the group CEO. In 2012, Philipp Kortüm joined the wholly owned subsidiary Fresenius Kabi as CFO for the German sales and marketing organization and further assumed the responsibility for the finance department of medi1one medical gmbh as managing director. Thereafter, Philipp Kortüm assumed responsibility as Executive Vice President for Corporate Controlling and Global Business Services (Shared Services). In 2019 he took over the role as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for the region Asia-Pacific out of Hong Kong.
Philipp Kortüm is married and lives with his family in Frankfurt am Main.
