Compliance means observing standards, laws and guidelines. As a neutral inspection agency accepted by all societal groups, TÜV Rheinland is well regarded and enjoys a high level of trust. Corruption or legally improper conduct would considerably damage the company.
Every individual in the company is responsible for ensuring that this does not happen. To meet the challenges of our daily work and to be able to offer assistance to every employee, we have developed a Compliance Program. The program identifies preventatively the risks of improper conduct, in particular corruption. Our declared goal is to be transparent inside and out.
With the training program, “Compliance at TÜV Rheinland Group” all employees and managers receive instructions on the subject of anti-corruption. The course is compulsory for everyone. In addition, each subsidiary has a local compliance officer to support compliance at TÜV Rheinland.

Our Compliance Organization provides support and information. The Compliance Office is available to give advice in the case of disputes. Compliance violations are pursued by the Compliance Officers. The Compliance Board is the highest committee. All employees can approach their immediate superiors or the Compliance Officer with questions or suggestions. We have installed a telephone helpline for anonymous reporting of compliance issues.
