The annual surveillance test (AST) includes the following tests:

- Leak test
- Response time
- Checking the zero point and reference point
- Linearity
- Cross sensitivities
- Zero point and reference point drift
- Review of the documentation
- Five comparative measurements using reference measurement methods
- Evaluation of the validity of the calibration function test and the variability test
In addition, the recurring calibration every three years includes:
- Fifteen comparison measurements
- Establishment of a calibration curve
- Determination of the necessary parameters
Should there be any significant changes to the operating conditions of your plant or the AMS, a recalibration is required within six months.
