Enabling the competence of testing and calibration laboratories

Overview:

ISO/IEC 17025 general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories is the main ISO standard used by testing and calibration facilities. In most major countries, ISO/IEC 17025 is the standard for which labs must hold accreditation in order to be deemed technically competent.

TÜV Rheinland offers various training programs for organizations to acquire knowledge & skills required to develop understanding on the basic requirements for implementation and develop a pool of assessors to evaluate the ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory QMS performance.

The standard is useful for universities, research centres, governments, regulators, inspection bodies, product certification organizations and other conformity assessment bodies which have a need to do testing, sampling or calibration.
