USA - California Adopted the NSRL for Antimony Trioxide

​The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has adopted a No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) of 0.13 micrograms per day for exposures to antimony trioxide by the inhalation route, effective January 1, 2024.

It was first proposed in August last year. The chemical substance is a component of flame retardant treatment for polymers; opacifying agent for glasses, ceramics, and enamels; specialty pigments; naturally occurring as valentinite and sernarmontite.
