The TÜV Rheinland Group is pleased about your interest in our products and your visit to this website. Data protection and data security for our customers and users in the Group has always been very important. Therefore, the protection of your personal data is also very important to us and a particular concern.

This statement on data protection explains what information TÜV Rheinland records during your visit to the Internet sites and how this information is used. However, this statement does not apply to Internet sites that do not belong to the TÜV Rheinland Group and which might have a link to or from this or another Internet site. We have no association with the Internet sites of offerers outside of our group that, if necessary, can be reached via a link to our Internet sites.

Personal data

You can access our Internet sites without having to give any kind of personal information beforehand.

During the use of some websites, as when logging in or if you request to contact us, you will be asked to send us certain personal data by inputting it in these websites. Basically, we only collect the information in mandatory fields that we absolutely need to carry out the task or inquiry. Of course, you are free not to give us this information. The confidentiality of your personal data will be strictly preserved by the TÜV Rheinland Group pursuant to the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act and other laws for protecting your privacy and your right to determine your personal information.

This also means that TÜV Rheinland will not transmit your data to third parties unless we have pointed out this necessity to you before you input your data, or you have already given us appropriate consent with a previous order.

If data is transmitted to a third party, TÜV Rheinland will also agree upon and monitor data protection measures with the third party that TÜV Rheinland imposes on itself. In the event of such an agreement, you will be informed about who will obtain your personal data.
