High Temperature Testing and Inspection
Reliable in-service inspection with our high temperature testing
Effective, efficient and safe plant operation requires a flexible maintenance strategy. To assist plant operators we developed equipment to execute Non-Destructive testing while a plant is in operation.
We provide high temperature testing for detecting and monitoring corrosion and other defects. Therefore, we have developed a set of “standard” procedures for temperatures up to 250° C. Our comprehensive non-destructive testing portfolio consists of cutting edge technology. Our qualified and experienced inspectors conduct high temperature testing while equipment is in full operation to save time and eliminate costs associated with shutdowns.
Our NDT specialists are ready to assist you with all of your high temperature inspection needs.
Monitor the condition of your assets with our state-of-the-art high temperature testing!
Productive and profitable performance with high temperature inspection
We provide comprehensive support throughout planning and preparation and conduct testing in accordance with your individual HSE requirements. With a high level of reproducibility, we can reliably examine a number of different geometries and accurately monitor damage progression. Results are presented in a clear and concise manner. We keep you up and running so you can concentrate on your business.

Technique | Application | Temperature range “standard” procedures | Possibilities special applications |
---|---|---|---|
ToFD | Defect detection | 250°C | 400°C |
Phased Array | Defect assessment and monitoring | 250°C | 400°C |
Corrosion Mapping | Corrosion measurements | 250°C | 400°C |
For the special applications additional efforts are required. Before execution a special procedure needs to be made and high-temperature tests must take place in the laboratory. Special test blocks may have to be fabricated for this purpose to simulate reality. Our laboratory provides facilities to carry out tests up to 500° C
