Consultant Research Management

The area

For more than 30 years, the Research Management Department has been supporting and advising public bodies in the implementation of their political tasks in the field of research, technology promotion and innovation. Its services include project management agencies as well as accompanying and impact research for several federal ministries with a focus on mobility and transport. This involves a broad spectrum of activities ranging from innovation and network management, science management and technology transfer, the evaluation of publicly funded programs and the organization of multi-stakeholder dialogues to the preparation of expert reports and studies and the support of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

Scientific and technical tasks

Its activities support the implementation of research policy goals and funding activities of its public clients. Based on their expertise from various disciplines, they accompany funded research projects from the idea to the marketability of innovative processes and products. They network actors, initiate knowledge exchange and create synergies in German and European transport research. Its activities support the implementation of research policy goals and funding activities of public clients. On the basis of their commercial expertise, they accompany funded research projects from the idea sketch or funding application to the examination of the use of the funds used. In doing so, they ensure that the funds they administer are properly and securely managed throughout the course of the project. You are able to present commercial and legal issues in a concise and understandable way, and you enjoy writing the relevant review documentation. As a business or administration graduate with knowledge in the areas of accounting or controlling, you will find an exciting field of work, an appreciative environment and individual career opportunities.
