Senior Expert in the Ground Transportation Technologies Team, TÜV Rheinland Consulting GmbH, Research Management, Cologne
Whether in the identification and elaboration of research topics, the professional support of funded projects or the comprehensive exchange with research actors - the field of activity is multifaceted. Currently I am in charge of research projects dealing with the development and introduction of automated vehicles. A highly interesting and at the same time challenging job. If the results of the research projects can be found in real products of the automotive industry, this is always a special highlight for me. I really enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team, where we have an intensive exchange on technical topics, deal with each other constructively and openly and support each other.
Project Administrator in the Business Management Team, TÜV Rheinland Consulting GmbH, Research Management, Berlin
Whether in advising applicants, financial controlling of ongoing projects or checking the intended use - the range of tasks is as varied as the range of topics of the funded projects. These deal, for example, with digital solutions in urban traffic, new vehicle drives or innovative technologies for ports. Currently, I am in charge of a number of funding applications where, in particular, the examination of the legal and administrative framework for funding is complex and where credit assessments of the research actors have led to critical results. A commercially interesting and demanding job. It is nice to be part of a team in which we are confronted with new questions every day, but in which professional exchange and mutual assistance are a matter of course.
