Sustainable Data Center Certificate
The Sustainable Data Center standard was developed specifically for data center operators who want to officially document and demonstrate to the outside world their responsible approach to the issue of sustainability.
In an on-site audit, our auditors first analyze the status quo of your data center. In addition, the building and technology plans for the data center are analyzed. Based on this, the sustainability of your data center is then assessed using a maturity model.
In addition, our experts audit nine focus areas of employees, IT, electrical engineering, air conditioning, energy, waste heat recovery, water, GHG emissions, and quality and processes. A climate index from A-G is created in each focus area, which is incorporated into the climate index for the data center.
The audit result is made available to you following the audit evaluation. You can then use the audit result to identify potential for improvement in your data center.
The certificate is valid for three years. To maintain it, a new audit must take place at least once a year.
