The annual surveillance test (AST) includes the following tests:

• Response time

• Review of the documentation
• Five comparative measurements using reference measurement methods
• Evaluation of the validity of the calibration function test and the variability test

In addition, the recurring calibration every three years includes:

• Fifteen comparison measurements
• Establishment of a calibration curve
• Determination of the necessary parameters

Should there be any significant changes to the operating conditions of your plant or the AMS, a recalibration is required within six months.
