Technical Sales Coordinator – (Machinery, Components and Energy Storage Systems)

Sales Co-ordination of our Machinery / Industrial projects between our labs, engineers and clients by;

  • Present, promote and sell services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Achieve agreed order income targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Proactively dealing with client enquiries, sales calls with new prospects and ensuring existing clients are satisfied.
  • Clarification of enquiry with client
  • Finding internal resources for service delivery
  • Initialization of quotations towards clients
  • Follow up of quotations
  • Initialization of administrative internal order process

Candidate must meet the following criteria

  • Customer friendly and confident on phone
  • Affinity towards technical products / services
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience / education within the manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge on Standard MS office Software
  • SAP knowledge is of advantage
  • Background on saleforce (CRM) is of advantage

Additional - All an advantage

  • Knowledge on TUV Rheinland Services
  • Knowledge of the TIC industry
  • Basic understanding of different international standards (e.g. ISO/IEC or company internal standards)

This role is office based (in our Solihull location) therefore the candidates must live locally.
