Matric or equivalent

ISO 9001 : Training (Internal Auditor/Lead)

Minimum 2 years within the Government Inspections & International Trade Division as a Technical Officer.

• Analysis of conformity document review in accordance to the regulatory/country requirements (ISO/IEC/CODEX/OIV,UNECE,EU,MS)
• Risk Assessment on Conformity document review
• Customer interaction regarding technical requirements
• Safety & Quality of exported products
• Compliance to East African, National & International Standards
• Countries requirements & Regulations (Uganda, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania & Zimbabwe)
• Instruction to inspector (Provide clear instructions to inspectors for inspection activities)
• Registration & Licensing of exporters per programme
• Ensuring timelines are met on delivery of inspection
• Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.

Beside the above listed job duties special assignments have to be carried out based on the instructions of the direct superior. Those special assignments are usually connected to above listed activities or those assignments are a result of company policy.

Authority

The incumbent is authorized to take any reasonable action necessary to carry out the assigned responsibilities, provided that such action is consistent with sound company and cost-effective practices and is consistent with position guidelines as outlined above.
