USA - CPSC Direct Final Rule to Revise Safety Standard for Infant and Cradle Swings
The current standard is called 'Infant Swings'. After revision, the standard will be renamed as 'ASTM F2088-24, Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Infant and Cradle Swings.'
The revised standard includes performance requirements and test methods, as well as requirements for warning labels and instructions, to address hazards to children.
The rule will become effective on September 14, 2024, unless the Commission receives a significant adverse comment by July 1, 2024.
