USA - CPSC Direct Final Rule to Revise Safety Standard for Infant and Cradle Swings

​The current standard is called 'Infant Swings'. After revision, the standard will be renamed as 'ASTM F2088-24, Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Infant and Cradle Swings.'
​The revised standard includes performance requirements and test methods, as well as requirements for warning labels and instructions, to address hazards to children.​​


​The rule will become effective on September 14, 2024, unless the Commission receives a significant adverse comment by July 1, 2024.​​
