Thailand - Draft Ministerial Regulation on Vehicles with regard to the Protection of the Occupants in the Event of a Frontal Collision (TIS 2400-256X(202X))

​Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI), Ministry of Industry announced draft Ministerial Regulation on Vehicles with regard to the Protection of the Occupants in the Event of a Frontal Collision (TIS 2400-256X(202X))

The draft Ministerial Regulation mandates vehicles to conform with the standard for Vehicles with regard to the Protection of the Occupants in the Event of a Frontal Collision (TIS 2400-256X(202X)).

This standard applies to vehicles of category M₁¹ of a total permissible mass not exceeding 2.5 tons; other vehicles may be approved at the request of the manufacturer.
