Taiwan - Proposal for Legal Inspection of Children’s Cots and Folding Cots for Domestic Use

​In response to the concerns raised by the public about the safety of children’s cots and folding cots due to incidents in recent years that resulted in severe injuries to infants, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection intends to regulate the safety and quality of children’s cots and folding cots for domestic use.

The conformity assessment procedure is either Type-Approved Batch Inspection or Registration of Product Certification (Module II + Module III).
