South Korea - Partial Amendment to Wireless Devices for Radio Stations That Can Be Established Without Reporting

​South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) has announced MSIT Notice No. 2025-14: Partial Amendment to Wireless Devices for Radio Stations That Can Be Established Without Reporting.

This amendment aims to improve user convenience and stimulate the relevant product market by easing regulations on the use of industrial frequency wireless devices for vehicle management, firefighting operations, and similar applications.

- Expanding the use of tire pressure monitoring systems (Proposed Article 4, Item 2).

- Relaxing regulations on the adoption of low-power repeaters for firefighting operations (Proposed Article 4, Item 6).​
