Saudi Arabia - Draft Technical Regulation for Personal Care Products

​On 7 Oct, 2024, WTOreceived notification from SASO - Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, about the draft Technical Regulation for Personal Care Products.

This regulation aims to determine the basic requirements for personal  care products within its scope and to outline the conformity assessment procedures that suppliers must adhere to in order to ensure product compliance, maintain consumer health and safety, and contribute to environmental protection​.

Annex 1 of the regulation listed the applicable standards.
