Rwanda - Regulation N°012/R/STDICT/RURA/2021 of 12/14/2021 on the Importation, Supply and Type Approval of Electronic Communications Equipment

Regulation N° 012/R/STDICT/RURA/2021 of 12/14/2021 governing the importation, supply and type approval of electronic communications equipment was published on the Rwanda Official Gazette on Feb 16, 2022.

Regulation N° 011/R/STDICT/RURA/2020 of 05/29/2020 is repealed.

This Regulation establish a regulatory framework on importation, supply and type approval of electronic communications equipment in Rwanda.

This Regulation applies to all electronic communications equipment which connects directly to a public electronic  communications network and all intentional transceivers of radio waves.

This Regulation came into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda.
