New Appointment TÜV Rheinland Laboratories by Indonesia Telecom Approval (SDPPI Approval)

The Directorate General of Resources Management and Equipment of Posts and Informatics hereby announce that the Director General of Resources Management and Equipment of Posts and Informatics Decree (Number 159 year 2019) regarding recognition of foreign test labs for telecommunication devices other than mobile phone, handheld computer and tablet computer has been issued on July 12th , 2019.

Based on Ministry Decree Number 16 year 2018 article 26, only test reports from recognized foreign labs are acceptable as supporting documents for telecommunication device certification process. 

The Director General's Decree No. 159 year 2019 lists 210 recognized foreign test labs for telecommunication devices other than mobile phone, handheld computer and tablet computer, and can be downloaded here.

The labs were selected based on the following criteria:

1) The ability to perform testing for telecommunication devices based on the technical regulation required or equivalent international standard

2) Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by APAC MRA or ILAC MRA signatories

3) Accredited or recognized by at least 2 (two) international organizations or telecommunication administrations

The validity period of the lab recognition is 6 (six) months.

The decree was signed on July 12th, 2019 and will be enforced 10 (ten) days after or July 22nd , 2019.
