Japan - Amendments to Examination Standards for Radio Stations in Non-Geostationary Satellite Communication Systems

​The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications will solicit opinions on the proposed amendments to the Examination Standards Related to the Radio Law (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Ordinance No. 67 of 2001) from Saturday, February 1, 2025, to Monday, March 3, 2025.

Overview The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has drafted a proposed amendment to the Examination Standards Related to the Radio Law concerning radio stations in non-geostationary satellite communication systems, as stipulated in Article 49-23-5 and Article 54-3-(3) of the Radio Equipment Regulations (Radio Regulatory Commission Regulation No. 18 of 1950).
