Israel - Wireless Telegraphy Regulations (Exemption from licensing) (Amendment) 5784-2024

​Israel's Ministry of Communication proposed a new amendment to the Wireless Telegraphy Regulations. The regulations set the requirements for the manufacture, trade, installation, operation or possession of a wireless device. The proposed amendment expands the exemption from import licensing for the following wireless devices as detailed in Regulation 2: 

  • Household or office projectors, complying with the Radio  Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU) and bearing a CE mark;
  • Gaming Console, complying with the Radio Equipment  Directive (2014/53/EU) and bearing a CE mark;
  • Wireless chargers, complying with the Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU) and bearing a CE mark;
  • Cochlear implants (hearing aid)

The proposed amendment will become effective immediately after it is published in Israel's Official Gazette, Section of Government Notice.
