India - Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2020

Ministry of Steel, Government of India has issued New "Steel and Steel Products ( Quality Control) Order,2020" . This order was issued on 27.05.2020 

vide which  21 additional  Steel Products have been notified under Mandatory BIS Certification . The respective dates of implementation have been given 

in the Order attached. This is for your kind information.​

The ministry of steel in India has given a new notification for extension of implementation dates of few steel items. The list is attached .

he Government of India and Ministry of Steel in India have come up with the latest regulation on steel and steel products.There are 91 types of steel products that are regulated as per the document, along with the implementation date and respective Indian standard. 

Mandatory ISI mark process is required for the product to be stored, imported and sold in India.
