GCC - Updated Requirements on Recognition of Test Reports for G Mark Certification

​The GCC Standardization Organisation (GSO) has issued an announcement regarding Updated Requirements on Recognition of Test Reports for G Mark Certification.

Key points of this announcement include:

 - Maximum acceptance period for test results is limited to 3 years for all Notified Body certification procedures required by GSO Technical Regulations (Toys, Low Voltage Equipment, Water Efficiency Label).

Note: For Low Voltage Equipment this constitutes a significant change, as previously no such period was defined in the scheme rules.

Effective Date: July 30, 2024

 - Traceability of the test reports to the products applied for certification

 - Detail requirements for acceptance of “Product Identity Declarations" (PID) or “Declarations of Identity" (DOI)
