European Union (EC) - Adoption of UN-R153 on Fuel System Integrity and Safety of Electric Power Train in the Event of a Rear-end Collision

​In December 2021, the European Commission adopted the UN-R153 on approval of vehicles with regard to fuel system integrity and safety of electric power train in the event of a rear-end collision. This automatically affects the Reg (EU) 2018/858 on whole vehicle type approval as of the day of this announcement.
