EU - New version of the RED Guide published

The new Guide to the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU ("RED Guide"), Version of 19 December 2018 has been published on the European Commission website:

This guide is published in its final official version based on previous TCAM drafts.

Most notable:

Section 1.6.2.4 (Airborne equipment) was revised to reflect new regulations, especially for drones.

On the other had, the text in section 1.6.3.9 (Specific components) remained unchanged. Amongst others, this is relevant to modules and integrated circuits.
