EU - Five More Substances Added to the Authorization List of the EU REACH Regulation

​The European Commission today added five more chemical substances to Annex XIV to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH Regulation) because they all meet the criteria for inclusion in Annex XIV of the Regulation.

Therefore, the above substances are subject to authorization and cannot be placed on the EU market after the sunset date (i.e. May 1, 2025). However, authorization may be granted or the use of the chemical substance is exempt from authorization. The application must be submitted before the latest application date (i.e. November 1, 2023).
