EU - Final Report RoHS Pack 23 is Published

​​The final report on the "Study to assess request for renewal of 12 exemptions to Annex III of Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS Directive) is now available (Pack 23) and can be downloaded.

The 12 exemptions are:

- 4(f) - Mercury in discharge lamps not mentioned in Annex III

- ​8(b) and 8(b)(i) - Cadmium in electrical contacts

- 9 and 9(a)-II - Hexavalent chromium in absorption refrigerators

- 13(a) - Lead in white glasses used for optical applications

- 13(b) series - Cadmium and lead in filter glasses and glasses used for refectance standards

- 15 and 15(a) - Lead in flip chip packages
