EU - EN 71-3:2019 Has Been Published

​The final version of EN 71-3:2019 was published on 10 April. 

This document supersedes EN 71-3:2013+A3:2018.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard at the latest by October 2019, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by 31 October 2019.

Harmonization in OJEU with the TSD 2009/48/EC is expected.

The analytical procedure has been further improved (especially concerning the limit of quantification LOQ for chromium VI and organotin compounds, but also with regard to sampling, dewaxing and the migration process). In addition, there were structural changes and other informative additions.
