EU - Approving Chrysanthemum Cinerariaefolium as an Active Substance for Use in Certain Biocidal Products

Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium extract from open and mature flowers of Tanacetum cinerariifolium obtained with hydrocarbon solvents has been evaluated for use in biocidal products of product-type 19, repellents and attractants, as defined in Annex V to the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR).

Taking into account the opinion of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), it is appropriate to approve Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium extract from open and mature flowers of Tanacetum cinerariifolium obtained with hydrocarbon solvents as an active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 19 subject to compliance with certain conditions.
