EU - A New Restriction Intention

​Italy submitted an intention to restrict the use​ of terphenyl, hydrogenated (EC 262-967-7, CAS 61788-32-7), as a substance, in mixtures and articles or parts thereof on April 21, 2021.

ECHA has no public registered data indicating whether or in which chemical products the substance might be used. Based on the existing information, it is used as a plastic additive, solvent in coating/inks, in adhesive and sealants, and heat transfer fluids.​

Stakeholders are requested to provide relevant information to the Dossier Submitter.

Expected date of dossier submission: April 8, 2022.

The substance is one of the SVHC which was listed in June 2018.
