China - NHC Notice No. 8/2023 Standard Updates for Food, Food Additives, Food Contact Materials and Others

​On October 7, 2023, China National Health Commission (NHC) ​published Notice No.8, on a series of food, food additives and food contact materials updates.

It revised the usage scope for ​different additives and added new types for coating substances. Details are provided in Annex 3 of the notification.
