Chile - Safety Analysis and/or Test Protocol (PE No. 8/7:2024) for Electronic Audio/video, Information Technology and Communication Technology Equipment

The Republic of Chile hereby advises that draft safety analysis and/or certification test protocol PE No. 8/7:2024 was published in the Official Journal on January 7, 2025, through Official Circular No. 263828 of December 27, 2024, of the Ministry of Energy/Electricity and Fuel Board.

The notified Protocol establishes the safety certification procedure for electrical products, namely single-function and multifunction laser and inkjet printers for household and office use.
