Chile - Draft Protocol for the Analysis and/or Safety Tests of Electrical Product PE Nº1/41:2023 Dryers

​The SEC (Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles) recently notified WTO regarding a Draft Protocol for the Analysis and/or Safety Tests of Electrical Product PE Nº1/41:2023 Dryers.​

This protocol establishes the safety certification procedure for electric clothes dryers for drying textiles on racks located in a flow of hot air, clothes dryers for drying shoes or gloves, and electric towel rails, for domestic and similar purposes, whose nominal voltage does not exceed 250 V, and similar purposes set out in the IEC 60335-2-43:2017-10  Ed.4.0.
