Chile - Draft Protocol for the Analysis and/or Safety Tests of Electrical Product PE Nº1/17:2023 Refrigerators, Freezers

​The SEC (Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles) recently notified WTO regarding a Draft Protocol for the Analysis and/or Safety Tests of Electrical Product PE Nº1/17:2023 Refrigerators, Freezers.​

This draft protocol establishes the safety certification procedure for refrigerators, refrigerator-freezers and freezers for domestic use, whose nominal voltage does not exceed 250 V. 

It also applies to ice makers with motor compressors, and similar purposes set out in the IEC 60335-2-24:2017 Ed.7.2
