Canada - Regulations Amending the Energy Efficiency Regulations, 2016 (Amendment 18)

​The proposed amendment to the Energy Efficiency Regulations, 2016 (Amendment 18) was published on April 9, 2025.

The Energy Efficiency Regulations, 2016 prescribe energy efficiency standards for residential, commercial, and industrial energy-using products.

All changes will come into force on October 10, 2025, with compliance dates ranging from October 10, 2025 to May 6, 2029, depending on the product.​
