Brazil - CONTRAN Resolution 759:2018 - Performance Requirements for Warning and Rear Monitoring Devices Installed in Vehicles

On December 20, 2018, the National Traffic Council or CONTRAN has published the Resolution 759 on the Requirements for Warning and Rear Monitoring Devices Installed in vehicles.

The requirements contained in this resolution apply to:

I - From January 1, 2025 to new vehicle projects locally manufactured or imported;

II - From January 1, 2027 for all vehicles under production, being optional to anticipate its total or partial adoption;
