Bolivia - Draft Technical Regulation on Energy Efficiency for LED lamps

Recently the Bolivian Ministry of Productive Development and Plural Economy (MDPyEP) & Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energies (MHE) notified WTO on a draft Technical Regulation - Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards for LED Lamps.​​

This draft Technical Regulation applies to LED Lamps for interior lighting, whether domestically produced or imported. All sole proprietorships or commercial companies, national or foreign, public or private, that produce, assemble or import LED Lamps for interior lighting, in the Plurinational State of Bolivia, regardless of the place of origin of the product or its destination, are covered by the provisions contained in this Technical Regulation.​
