Bolivia - Draft Technical Regulation for Semi-Manufactured Alpaca Fiber Yarns

​The draft Technical Regulation applies to semi-manufactured yarn products, which contain alpaca fiber, in whole or in part, expressed as a percentage (weight/weight).

It will establish the minimum information that must be presented by semi-manufactured yarn products containing alpaca fiber, as well as the conditions under which said information must be presented, whether for products manufactured in national territory or imported, and that are marketed in the Plurinational State of Bolivia, with the purpose of preventing practices that may mislead consumers about the characteristics of these products, mitigating practices of adulteration, fraud, forgery, manipulation and/or alteration by third parties.
