Argentina - The Technical Regulations for Personal Protection Elements are Simplified, In Line with International Standards

​​The Ministry of Economy's Ministry of Industry and Commerce updated the Technical Regulation of Personal Protection Elements, aiming to ensure that products reaching Argentine consumers are safe and of high quality, and aligned with international standards.

Through Resolution 18/2025, it is established that national and foreign certificates from accredited certification bodies are valid for marketing in the country, thus avoiding the duplication of tests and control processes already verified by international plants. This applies to prevention elements against drowning by immersion, hearing protection, protective clothing and equipment against falling from height, head protection, and respiratory protection, as well as protection for total or partial face, extremities, and ocular protection, among others.
