TÜV Rheinland Awards Four Certifications to Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max at CES 2025

Las Vegas, January 7, 2025 – TÜV Rheinland Group, the international leading independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organization, presented three prestigious certifications—cTÜVus, TÜV Bauart, ,CE-RED and IECCC CB—to Shenzhen Aiper Intelligent C. Ltd (Aiper) for its robotic pool cleaner, Scuba X1 Pro Max, at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). This milestone marks the first instance where TÜV Rheinland has simultaneously awarded three certifications for a pool cleaning robot, covering the European Union, the United States, Canada and international markets. Nicholas Phillips, General Manager of North America from Aiper and Michael Cronin, Vice President of Sales, Business Stream Products at TÜV Rheinland North America, attended the ceremony.
According to a market study by Global Market Insight, the global market for robotic pool cleaners reached USD 950 million in 2023 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18.5% between 2024 and 2032. With the increasing demand for smart and automated living solutions and a growing number of residential pools, efficient automated pool maintenance solutions are on the rise. Wireless robotic pool cleaners, known for their convenience and efficiency, are gaining popularity. These robots offer features such as remote control, programmable cleaning schedules, and seamless integration with smart home systems, meeting modern households' needs for intelligent living.
The cTÜVus certification confirms that the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max complies with safety standards for the U.S. and Canadian markets, qualifying it for entry into North America. The TÜV Bauart certification, a globally recognized mark for product safety, demonstrates that the product has undergone rigorous testing and factory audits to meet European and international safety standards. The CE-RED certification confirms compliance with the EU Radio Equipment Directive, ensuring the safety and compatibility of its wireless communication functions.
