TÜV Rheinland Issues “Range at Max. Speed” Certificate to NAVEE ST3 Pro Electric Scooter at CES

Las Vegas, January 8, 2025 - NAVEE, a global leader in intelligent short-distance mobility, announced the North American launch of its flagship electric scooter, the ST3 Pro, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025. The ST3 Pro has been granted “Range at Max. Speed” certification by TÜV Rheinland, an international independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organization.

In recent years the concept of green travel has swept the globe, with shared micro-mobility, primarily electric scooters, gaining popularity in Europe and North America, propelling the electric scooter market into a period of rapid development. However, quite a few electric scooter models have shown a discrepancy between actual range and official claims, affecting the user's riding experience. To address this, TÜV Rheinland introduced the “Range at Max. Speed” certification service.

For this NAVEE project, TÜV Rheinland conducted tests and evaluations on the endurance performance of the ST3 Pro in accordance with the safety standard for personal light electric transportation EN 17128, the safety standard for electrical systems of personal electric transportation equipment UL 2272, and the safety standard for household appliances EN 60335-1, covering electrical safety, structural safety, and tire characteristics. The results demonstrate that the actual range of the product under maximum speed is consistent with the official claims.
