| 2001 | Accreditation granted by Instituto Português de Acreditação (IPAC), Portuguese Institute for Accreditation, as Quality Management System Certification Body (ISO 9001). |
| 2003 | TÜV Akademy Rheinland is founded. Accreditation by DGERT (Directorate General for Employment and Labour Relations) as a Training Entity. Providing training in Quality, Environment, Safety and Energy areas. |
| 2005 | Accreditation granted by Instituto Português de Acreditação (IPAC) as Environmental Management System Certification Body (ISO 14001 and EMAS). |
| 2011 | Merger by incorporation between TÜV Rheinland Portugal and TÜV Akademy Rheinland. The two merged companies result in the new entity TÜV Rheinland Portugal, Inspecções Técnicas, Unipessoal, Lda. |
| 2013 | Accreditation granted by IPAC according to ISO/IEC 17020 as Inspection Body for pressure vessels. |
