South Korea - KC Safety Approval

The KC (Korea Certification) mark was developed to protect customers from electrical hazards through product testing and inspection. The mark indicates compliance with Korea’s product safety requirements for electrical and electronic equipment and components. There are 3 types of KC certification schemes regulating AC or DC electrical appliances up to 1000V: • KC Safety Certification • KC Safety Confirmation  • KC Supplier's Declaration of Conformity The Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL), Korea Testing and Research Institute (KTR) and Korea Testing and Certification (KTC) are recognized certification bodies able to confirm product conformity.
