Testing of fuel/energy consumption of buses
For bus purchasing tenders, it is generally required to provide fuel or energy consumption/range parameters of Diesel, Hybrid, e-driven buses according to UITP SORT standards. Sometimes in Hungary the test procedure JML-02-16 is required. Both UITP SORT and JML-02-16 standards are real road tests and we at TUV Rheinland-KTI offer the testing based on them. Fuel consumption measurements could be interesting also for fleet operators in order to evaluate the effect of different operating parameters and accessories (for e.g. tail winds).
