Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) - Technical Regulation TR CU 020/2011 Electromagnetic compatibility of technical devices

Open the doors to the Eurasian Economic Union with EAC certification

In 2011, the Technical Regulation TR CU 020/2011 ‘On electromagnetic compatibility’ was adopted. It sets minimum requirements for the electromagnetic compatibility of technical devices for the protection of life, health, property and the environment, as well as consumer protection against misleading information. Accordingly, electrical, electronic and radio-electronic products must be designed and manufactured in such a way that electromagnetic interference is not capable of impairing other related products. The products in scope moreover must not be susceptible to electromagnetic interference. Although the requirements of the Technical Regulation TR CU 020/2011 have been coordinated with the requirements of the EU ‘Directive 2014/30/EU on electromagnetic compatibility’, they are not identical. Compliance with the requirements of Technical Regulation TR CU 020/ is a prerequisite for successful access to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) market.
