Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Technical Regulation on Safety of Furniture
Technical Regulation TR CU 025/2012 on safety of furniture, sets requirements for furniture products and sets for household and public premises, including those tailor-made ones. Article 5 of the Technical Regulation determines the essential safety requirements, while Article 6 describes the conformity assessment procedure. Depending on the type pf furniture, declaration of conformity or certificate of conformity may be needed. Upon successful conformity assessment, the EAC Mark shall be labelled with on the non-removable part of each piece of furniture before placing on the market.
